Medical peelings
In medicine, a distinction is made between superficial, medium and deep peelings, which are applied according to need and treatment objective.
Medical peelings are used for
- Rough, dull skin to revitalize and refresh the skin
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Pigment spots/ melasma
- Acne and acne scars
For optimum results, we recommend a series treatment of 4-6 peelings at intervals of 2-4 weeks for superficial peelings. Medium and deep peelings are applied as individual treatments.
We have a large selection of different peelings in our practice. Let us advise you on which peeling treatment is right for you and your skin.
Microneedling
Microneedling involves treating the facial skin with a dermaroller or dermastamp.
This is equipped with many fine and very short needles that pierce the uppermost layer of the skin (epidermis).
This stimulates the collagen fibers.
Microneedling is used to treat wrinkles, stretch marks and scars.
Infini
Infini is a fractionated radiofrequency system that combines two treatment modalities in one platform. This involves both mechanical stimulation (microneedling) and thermal stimulation (radiofrequency). The scope of application includes:
- Skin tightening
- Skin rejuvenation
- Pore refinement
- Acne scars
- Stretch marks/stretch marks
Melasma
Melasma, also known as chloasma or pregnancy spots, are symmetrical brown spots that usually appear on the face and are made more visible by UV exposure.
The pigment can be superficial or deeper in the skin.
The deeper the pigment, the longer the treatment takes.
Depending on the severity, we offer various peelings and laser therapies and are also happy to accompany you for further treatment at home.
Cryolipolysis
A slim and well-proportioned body silhouette is considered the ideal of beauty in today’s society.
Cryolipolysis offers an excellent, pain-free treatment option with few side effects for localized, stubborn fat deposits that cannot be sufficiently combated despite exercise or a reduction in calorie intake.
It is ideal for treating unwanted fat deposits in areas such as the hips (so-called love handles), thighs and upper arms.
The Coolshaping procedure is based on the scientifically proven fact that fat cells crystallize and die at comparatively higher temperatures than other body cells.
With the help of an applicator, the fatty tissue is cooled to approx. 4°C for approx. sixty minutes.
This causes the cells to die and are then slowly and completely naturally broken down by the body.
It is important to note that only the fat in the subcutaneous fatty tissue can be reached, i.e. the fat that lies above the muscles.
A medical assessment and indication are therefore essential.
Because it is a natural breakdown of the dead fat cells, the breakdown process is relatively slow, but also very even.
It takes a total of two to three months before the final result is visible and a new treatment can be carried out if necessary.
Clear results are visible after just one session.
Ideally, a single treatment can reduce an unwanted fat deposit by around 30 %.
However, as every body reacts differently, in most cases two to three sessions per zone at intervals of around twelve weeks are required to achieve optimum results.
Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy is a non-surgical method of aesthetic skin treatment in which the skin is supplied with nutrients and moisture by microinjection of a cocktail of active ingredients. The effect of a mesotherapy treatment is long-lasting. The active ingredients ensure a smoother, fresher complexion and a reduction in wrinkles.
VelaShape II
Cellulite affects almost 80% of women, regardless of factors that can be influenced such as sport, a healthy diet and body weight.
The so-called “orange peel skin” is caused by a weakness in the connective tissue, which causes the fat pads normally located in the subcutaneous tissue to push upwards through the connective tissue and thus become visible.
With Velashape, there is now finally a way to combat these unsightly dimples effectively and without side effects.
VelaShape can be used mainly for cellulite treatment (currently one of the few devices approved by the FDA and tested as effective for this indication). Other effects are also achieved: By stimulating the metabolism and blood circulation, the skin is tightened and the body circumference reduced (body shaping).
How does Velashape work?
Using the patented light energy method in combination with a vacuum massage, energy in the form of heat is injected into the fatty tissue, which causes the enlarged, bulging fat cells to shrink permanently and thus significantly reduces the formation of dimples. At the same time, the increase in blood circulation and lymph flow leads to regeneration and new formation of connective tissue, which in turn prevents the formation of new dents. By shrinking the fat cells, the circumference of the treated area can be significantly reduced.
When are the results visible and how many treatments are necessary?
Immediately after the first treatment, you may already notice a slight smoothing and tightening of the treated area. To achieve a lasting result in terms of cellulite and a measurable reduction in circumference, four to six treatments are required at one-week intervals, depending on the initial result. Treatments at six-monthly intervals are recommended for maintenance therapy. On average, a circumference reduction of approx. 2.5 cm can be achieved, which corresponds approximately to a trouser size.
Are the results permanent?
In order to achieve a cosmetically long-lasting result, the intervals should be gradually extended after the initial weekly intensive treatment. Maintenance meetings should then take place approximately every six months. Here too, the combination of a balanced diet and regular exercise will help you maintain your newly shaped curves.
