Psoriasis (psoriasis)

Psoriasis is a chronic, inflammatory skin disease.

Description

It mainly manifests itself in the form of severely scaly, dot-like to palm-sized patches of skin (often on the knees, elbows and scalp) – often with severe itching – as well as changes to the nails.
Other organs (especially joints) can also be affected by psoriasis.
Psoriasis can have a major impact on the lives of those affected.
There are currently several treatment options.
Patients must always be assessed and treated on a very individual basis.
If the psoriasis is extensive, UV light therapy has proven effective.
The practice has the latest equipment with narrow spectrum UVB light.
We also offer the latest systemic therapy options (treatments with biologics).
