Wrinkle therapy with botulinum toxin

Botulinum toxin A has made a career as a beauty injection against wrinkles.
This neurotoxin has been used successfully in medicine for more than twenty years.
During this procedure, the mimic muscles in the face and neck area, which are the cause of wrinkles, are targeted and relaxed in an uncomplicated and quick manner.
By relaxing the muscles in these areas, the wrinkles relax and smooth out.

The more pronounced wrinkles are significantly reduced in depth and the formation of new wrinkles is prevented.
The effect occurs after approximately one to two weeks and lasts between four and eight months after the first treatment, depending on the patient.
